WHAT: Supporting our community food pantry through donations and service.
WHERE: Donations are collected at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The pantry is located at our community partner, the Dr. William H. Weeks Community Center.
WHO IT SERVES: Our neighbors in need within the 13203 and 13208 zip codes.

Our patron, St. Vincent de Paul, dedicated his life to serving Christ in the poor. Following his example and the command of Jesus in the Gospel—"I was hungry and you gave me food"—our parish is committed to fighting hunger in our community.
The Holy Family were once refugees, seeking safety in a foreign land. Today, we are called to see the face of Christ in the families who arrive in our community seeking refuge and a new beginning. At St. Vincent de Paul, our Refugee Ministry is our faith in action—a direct response to the Gospel's call to "welcome the stranger" and a core expression of our Vincentian identity.
During the holy seasons of Advent and Christmas, when our parish is filled with light and song, our Poinsettia Ministry ensures that this joy reaches every member of our parish family, especially those who are homebound.
Our patron, St. Vincent de Paul, taught us that we find Christ in the poor, the sick, and the vulnerable. Our Ministry to the Homebound is the heart of this mission, a sacred promise that no member of our parish family will ever feel isolated or forgotten due to illness, age, or infirmity. We are the bridge connecting our homebound parishioners to the heart of our community: the celebration of the Eucharist.
