First Holy Communion: A Joyful Encounter with Jesus
Imagine the joy on your child's face as they receive Jesus for the very first time. First Holy Communion is one of the most beautiful and important moments in the life of a Catholic family. Here at Blessed Sacrament, this day is the heart of our parish identity. It is the moment our young people are first welcomed to the Lord's Table to receive the greatest gift of all: the Eucharist, the true Body and Blood of Christ.
This sacred milestone follows Baptism and a period of preparation, typically occurring in the second grade, when a child is ready to understand the mystery and gift of Jesus' presence. Our parish is honored to walk with your family as your child prepares to take this grace-filled step in their journey of faith.

As summer ends and a new school year begins, we are thrilled to invite your family to grow with us in our 2026-2027 Faith Formation programs! From learning the stories of the Bible to preparing for the sacraments, our programs are designed to help our young people build a personal relationship with Jesus in a fun and supportive community.
Our Programs
- Faith Formation (Grades K-7): A place for children to learn the core teachings of our faith, build lasting friendships, and grow closer to Jesus.
- Sacramental Preparation: Our two-year programs prepare children to receive the incredible gifts of the sacraments, typically beginning in the first grade for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion and in middle school for Confirmation.
